TERMS AND CONDITIONS
These general sales conditions are agreed between Longlife - Saboaria Artesanal Portuguesa, Lda, with headquarters at Rua do Outeiro, nº 5, 2350-083 Torres Novas, tax number 513135022 and contact +351 249 720 030, hereinafter referred to as “Longlife”and people who wish to make purchases through the website www.essenciaspt.com hereinafter referred to as “User”.
The parties agree that purchases made through the website www.essenciaspt.com will be regulated exclusively by this contract, excluding any conditions previously available on the website.
The present general sales conditions are intended to provide and define all the necessary information to the User on the modalities of ordering, selling, paying and delivering purchases made on the website www.essenciaspt.com.
These conditions regulate all the steps necessary to place the order and guarantee the follow-up of this order between the Contracting Parties.
The User places the order by completing the purchase process presented on the website www.essenciaspt.com by adding the wished product(s) or service(s) to order to the shopping basket.
To send your order the User must:
a) Optionally, register on the website www.essenciaspt.com, providing the information requested therein;
b) Optionally, log in (providing a combination of email and password chosen by the User at the time of registration);
c) Complete the information and choose the options that are made available to you throughout the order completion process (delivery and billing address, contact, shipping method, payment method, as well as the VAT number (optional) and the name that, for tax purposes , you want them to appear on the invoice).
The final confirmation of the order by the User is equivalent to full and complete acceptance of the prices and description of the products available for sale as well as these General Sales Conditions, which will be the only ones applicable to the contract thus concluded.
Longlife will honor orders received online only up to the limit of available stocks. In the absence of product availability, Longlife undertakes to inform the User as soon as possible.
The data contained in the invoice are the sole responsibility of the User. The invoice once issued cannot be reissued with changes.
For payment purposes, we offer the following payment methods: Credit cards: Visa, MasterCard, American Express; PayPal, ATM reference and MBWay. All purchase transactions take place within a strict framework of confidentiality and encryption thanks to the SSL protocol (that is, your bank details do not circulate on the internet and never reach our website).
When you make a card payment, the transaction takes place between you and Stripe or Paypal. Verification of bank details: When an order is validated, Stripe or Paypal verifies the validity and the card number, ensuring that they are valid and that there are no oppositions. This way, you are doubly protected against abuse or fraud. To minimize the risk of unauthorized access, your credit card details will be encrypted. Once we receive your order, Stripe or Paypal will check your card immediately to ensure that there are sufficient funds to complete the transaction. The charge on your card will be made immediately after confirmation of the shipment of the goods. Credit cards are subject to verification and authorization by the card issuing entity, but if the entity does not authorize payment, your order will not be fulfilled.
Delivery of orders in mainland Portugal will take place within 7 working days after ordering. Delivery is carried out by the company CTT Expresso or as chosen by the User.
Shipping costs are added to the order, the values of which can be checked at checkout.
Under normal circumstances, for purchases with a value equal to or greater than 35 € (thirty-five euros), with delivery in mainland Portugal, shipping costs will be free. The delivery of these orders is carried out by the company CTT Expresso.
All prices for products and services on the website include VAT at the legal rate in force at 23%, to which are added delivery charges (see Returns and Exchanges - shipping fees). We also safeguard that prices can change at any time. However, price changes should not affect order orders already placed.
CANCELLATION AND RETURN
The cancellation or return process is handled on a case-by-case basis by Longlife. The order must arrive in writing to the contact email email@example.com, within 14 days after the order, in the case of return, or until the order is processed, in the case of cancellation, with the instructions for cancellation or return of goods answered and defined by Longlife by the same means of communication.
Whenever possible, the return must be made using the same payment method, but if this is not possible, the user must present proof of payment and account or card ownership, in order to make the return by Bank Transfer.
Longlife undertakes to refund the User within a maximum period of 30 working days.
Returned products must be in sales condition, that is, in the same condition in which they arrived in the User's hands, without any anomaly or damage.
If the value resulting from the exchange of products for an order is lower or higher than the initial value of the same, the settlement conditions will be indicated by Longlife.
The processing of your data is done in compliance with the legislation on the protection of personal data. These, subject to computer processing, will be included in Longlife's database (s), and are intended for the registration and presentation of other products and services, as well as institutional information, to be made available by them.
Their supply is optional and the right of access, rectification and cancellation of any data that directly concerns you, in person or in writing, is directly guaranteed to the address on the contact page of this website under the law.
